Hello everyone,
Typical conversation between parent and student:
Parent: What did you do at school today?
Student: Nothing.
Just to keep you in the loop, we're not doing nothing! Here are a few things you may not be aware of that are coming up:
Math - assessment on Wednesday (test)
Math - worksheet from today due tomorrow (Tuesday)
Visual Arts - Picasso Art due Friday
Visual Arts/Language - My Hero - please talk to your child about their Hero project; the project is to be done in sections at school, however research can certainly be done at home; research is expected to be at school as of tomorrow (students have had a week to gather information).
Science - Cell sheet (green) was due on Friday and is now overdue
Gym - students are expected to have a change of clothes for gym every day (we sometimes gain an extra period, and at the moment, our schedule isn't set in stone)
This year, we are going to be vigilant about assignments being done on time and handed in within a specified time frame. Student marks will reflect work being handed in late. We are reasonable about extenuating circumstances, and will make accommodations when appropriate.
Madame Evans would like to inform students and parents that Extra French help is available upon request. With our current duty schedule, she is unable to commit to a particular time or day of the week, so students will have to speak to her to "book" time to receive extra help.
Hope everyone had a happy Monday,
Miss Skelton :)
