We had a very eventful day today. First, we had our visit to BDHS - a successful "first" day of Grade 9! Students were able to meet different students from other schools, participate in short versions of potential classes next year (each student was able to visit 3 different classes), and enjoy presentations by highschool students who showcased some of The Arts that Bradford High has to offer. Thank you to all for a successful day, and thank you to the teachers at Bradford District High School for having us!
We also said good-bye to Officer Elisabeth today. She was in this afternoon to have our final official VIP session. We will be seeing her again - we've already planned to have her in for a couple more visits. We've encouraged students to share with you the videos that they watched today, but if they've "forgotten", here's the website so that you can view them:

The videos that end in "They Lied" are the ones we watched - the website is excellent if you're looking for ways to talk to your child about drug use and abuse. We will also continue to address these issues with students throughout the school year.
Have a wonderful night,
Miss Skelton :)
