Thank you so much for supporting our blog so far this year. I hope that it's something that you'll continue to use as a tool for communication between home and school.
The next couple of weeks are jam-packed with events.... here's a rundown:
Friday Sept 16th - CASI (Students: please be at school!)
Monday Sept 19 - Wednesday Sept 21 - Kandalore
Thursday Sept 22 - School-wide reorganization - students will be assigned their new homerooms and teachers (grade 8 classes will be minimally affected); this is also the day after we return from Kandalore, and it will be a regular school day, so students are expected to be in attendance.
Friday Sept 23 - PD Day
Wednesday Sept 28 - Meet-the-Teacher Night
Students who are NOT attending Kandalore are expected to attend school. We do, however, understand that some parents will choose to have their children stay at home - if this is the case for your child, please contact the school or myself with either a phone call or a note or e-mail indicating such. This will eliminate the need for a call from Safe Arrival, and will alleviate some of our office staff's workload. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
I hope everyone has had a great transition with "back-to-school". I look forward to meeting you either on Monday when you drop your child off for Kandalore, Wednesday when you pick your child up from Kandalore, or at Meet-the-Teacher night!
