Hello again,
Thank you for your input regarding your child's use of a personal laptop or other device at school. In the new year, we will begin to make the option available for students who wish to (and are allowed to!) bring their personal equipment to school.
Over the next week, we'll be very busy - the following are but a few of the things going on in our Grade 8 world:
- History assignment (Bitstrips) - was due earlier this week - many have finished (please ask your child to see theirs - they're a hoot!)
- Science assignment - Marine animal project - due Wed or Thurs next week
- Most Dangerous Game (Language) - review due next week
- French Art (animal project - 2D or 3D) - due next Thurs - students will need to make sure they have all necessary materials
- Thursday (22nd) and Friday (23rd) at 9:15 am - Holiday Variety Show and Caroling, hosted by our Grade 8 students... if you'd like to attend, you're welcome to! Our students are in the process of putting a few skits and performances together; these will be presented to the rest of the school on Thurs and Fri before our annual caroling each day. Very exciting!
